Rupes Dalai joined the Inspection Panel secretariat in October 2014. His responsibilities include providing research support to the Panel secretariat, reviewing of grievances for admissibility of Panel cases and assisting the Panel’s communications and outreach program.  Rupes manages the Panel’s website and social media which aims to build better awareness of the Panel as an independent accountability mechanism among its key stakeholders particularly the project affected communities and Civil Society Organizations. Prior to joining the Panel, Rupes has worked in the World Bank Executive Director's Office for Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka, Asian Development Bank, HCL Technologies and Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Rupes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology.
