Tamara Milsztajn is an Operations Officer at the Inspection Panel. She has seven years of professional experience working with issues related to social inclusion, gender and social and environmental safeguards. For the past three years, she worked with the World Bank’s Safeguards Policies and was part of the team that is leading the Review and Update of the Safeguards Policies. Her experience prior to the World Bank includes working with the Inter-American Development Bank (on climate change and labor issues), the UN Millennium Campaign, the State Government of Rio de Janeiro, and NGOs in Brazil and El Salvador (focusing on youth at risk and gender issues). Tamara holds a Master’s in International Development from Georgetown University, where she received a Luso-American Foundation for Development Scholarship, and a BA in International Relations from PUC-Rio University. Tamara speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
