Summer Interns from Truman Scholars Program

The Panel is pleased to welcome again this year two student summer interns from theTruman Scholars Program. They areTaylerUlmer andJordanBurns. In addition to learning about the Panel’s compliance role and work, they are both undertaking important research projects. See their bios and research projects below:

Tayler, a Chicago-native, graduated from Spelman College with degrees in Anthropology/Sociology and International Studies. She is synthesizing the major Lessons Learned from Panel cases into a research report that will allow Panel staff to more easily assess and share these, as well as setting up a photo library of past cases. As a Marshall Scholar, Tayler will be attending the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London this fall.

Jordanrecently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Civil Engineering and minor in Business. She is documenting the outcomes resulting from the Panel process, as well as updating the Panel’s complaints database. See photos.
