Tove Holmstrom and Patricia Nunez Benitez have joined the Inspection Panel team on temporary assignments.
Tove joined the Panel in early April from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for a practical learning experience. Tove is serving as Associate Expert in Human Rights at the Indigenous Peoples and Minorities Section of the OHCHR and will be with the Panel Secretariat until late May. She has a master’s degree in Philosophy in Indigenous Studies from the University of Tromso in Norway and a BA in history from the University of Helsinki.
Patricia joined the Panel in late March. Patricia will be with the Secretariat for three months before returning to MICI, the Inter-American Development Bank’s accountability mechanism, where she has worked as an intake officer since September 2014. She has a master’s degree in conflict resolution from Georgetown University and a B.S. in psychology from Blanquerna University in Barcelona, Spain.
